RCD Mallorca has exceeded 60 million euros in player sales after the sale of Samú Costa and Jan Virgili. The Mallorcan entity has expedited the rejuvenation of its squad through several sales. According to market records, the entity has accumulated approximately 30.2 million euros in transfers before these two deals. With these numbers, the estimated direct revenue from Mallorca since transfers amounts to about 59.2 million euros before considering Virgili. Adding the 7.2 million euros from Virgili's transfer, the total reaches approximately 66.4 million euros, taking Samú Costa's net amount as a reference. Jan Virgili's sale also has an economic nuance: Mallorca does not hold 100% of the player's rights. Barcelona will receive 4.8 million euros from the 12 million paid by Club Brugge, and Virgili has signed a five-year contract until 2031. Regarding Samú Costa, his move to Al-Nassr marked one of Mallorca's most significant transactions. The 25-year-old Portuguese midfielder left around 22 million euros net for the club after adjustments related to Almería. The relegation also decreased the release clauses of certain players, facilitating particular deals. Leo Román was transferred to Deportivo for 9 million euros, the sum corresponding to his release clause following Mallorca's drop to the Segunda División. The entity still has room to adjust this balance before the market closes. The sales of Virgili and Samú Costa have boosted transfer revenues to around 66 million euros, though the final amount may change with new departures or variables. Currently, Jan Virgili and Samú Costa stand as the latest transactions that have bolstered Mallorca's finances as the club approaches the final stretch of the market with a squad geared for competition in the Segunda División. In the current season, RCD Mallorca is ranked 14th in La Liga with 35 points, 9 wins, 8 draws, and 15 losses in 32 games. The entity has scored 40 goals and received 49 goals in the current season, with a -9 goal difference. Additionally, the entity is 44 points behind leaders Barcelona. Several players from the entity are currently injured, including Samuel Almeida Costa, Ivan Cuellar Sacristan, Vedat Muriqi, Manuel Morlanes, Pablo Maffeo, and Javi Llabrés.
