RCD Mallorca has launched a collaboration with Disney+ to mark the premiere of the second season of Daredevil: Born Again, the Marvel series, linking the club to the superhero through several first team players. The campaign began on 30 March with a teaser starring Sergi Darder, whose surname phonetically echoes the character's name.

A day later, on 1 April, a hero video went live featuring Antonio Raíllo, the team captain, alongside Darder, Mateo Joseph and Pablo Torre. On the meaning of the initiative, Darder said: "To mark the premiere of the second season of Marvel's Daredevil: Born Again, Disney+ is unveiling a special collaboration with RCD Mallorca."
The material has been rolled out across the club's main channels and touchpoints, building toward the season's most anticipated fixture. Raíllo detailed the timeline of the campaign: "The campaign will be rolled out across the club's main channels and touchpoints."
A tie-up built around the Dimonió
The link between the two brands rests on shared symbolism. Mallorca's crest features the 'Dimonió', a devil that carries the club's red and black colours, the same shades that define the Daredevil universe. The campaign's narrative leans on a story of darkness followed by a powerful comeback, a theme Marvel attaches to Charlie Cox's character and one Disney+ has extended to the club through values of resilience and identity.
The second season, created by Dario Scardapane, Chris Ord and Matt Corman, runs to eight episodes centred on survival, resistance and redemption, with Vincent D'Onofrio starring as Wilson Fisk. Both seasons are available exclusively on Disney+.
Mallorca sit second heading into the break
The campaign lands during a strong run for the Mallorca side, who sit second in Segunda División on 10 points after five games, three behind leaders Castellón. The club reached that position by beating Sabadell 2-0 on 13 September, with a brace from Adrian Fuentes, and next travel to face Real Sociedad II, ninth in the table, on 19 September.
